Fill the Pantry

You can support our school community with food donations for families in need throughout the year. Here are some items you can give:

  • Non-perishables, canned fruits and vegetables (not dented), microwaveable meals. Check expiration dates!

  • Pasta, rice, crackers, soup, oatmeal, nuts, applesauce, jerky, sauces, spices, salt. Check expiration dates!

  • Bottled water, shelf-stable milk, assorted tea bags

  • Gift cards for local coffee shops, bakeries, and grocery stores

You can drop-off with Ms. Marrero during morning drop-off or afternoon pick-up. You can also send deliveries to PS 295, 330 18th Street, Attention: Ms. Marrero Parent Coordinator, Brooklyn, NY 11215.

Winter Coat Drive

You can support our school community with donations for families in need in the colder months:

  • Clean and gently-used or new coats and jackets. Sizes Youth Medium to 2XL only. No smaller sizes needed at this time.

  • Clean and gently-used or new scarves, hats, gloves, sweaters, trousers. Sizes Youth Medium to 2XL only. No smaller sizes needed at this time.

Book Fair

You can support our school community with book donations for all students to receive at least one free book at the annual PS 295 Scholastic Book Fair:

  • Gently-used or new books for ages 3–11 (picture books, early readers, chapter books, graphic novels, nonfiction, magazine sets). Kid appropriate content, inclusive, and contemporary topics please.

You can drop-off with Ms. Marrero during morning drop-off or afternoon pick-up. You can also send deliveries to PS 295, 330 18th Street, Attention: Ms. Marrero Parent Coordinator, Brooklyn, NY 11215.
