Students Thriving with Right At School
For the 2025-26 school year, PS 295 is partnering with the after school provider, Right At School, a nationally recognized provider of enrichment-based childcare. This program will be available for all students in 3-K, Pre-K, and Grades K–5 and will run every day school is in session, from 2:40—6:00pm.
The program is designed to provide a safe, joyful, and enriching environment for students with qualified, local educators in partnership with our school. Each after school day will include:
a healthy snack
structured homework time
STEAM-based learning activities
indoor and outdoor fitness and games
leadership development
social-emotional learning and creativity
Right At School’s curriculum is designed to foster curiosity, collaboration, and student voice while supporting academic and personal growth in a safe and nurturing environment, right in the PS 295 classrooms and spaces we use during the school day.

Right Club for Grades K–5 combines high-quality academic enrichment, active play, and social skill-building — all wrapped in the fun and energy kids love.

Right Club Jr. is the RAS out of school program created just for children ages 3-6 years of age. Children engage in play-based, learning activities designed to foster and reinforce core skills in literacy, mathematics, science, fine arts, gross and fine motor physical education, and durable skills.

How to Apply
PS 295’s Right At School program (for 3-K/Pre-K and Grades K–5) is available to register throughout the school year and flexible monthly or drop-in options, including non-school days and 10-day punch cards for on-demand needs.
Discounts are available for siblings, free or reduced lunch families, and NYC Public School employees. PS 295 Family Teacher Association is also fundraising to provide scholarships throughout the year. Please contact Ms. Marrero with questions. We’re happy to help.
