About our Local School District

We are part of District 15 that includes 41 schools in the neighborhoods of Greenwood Heights, Park Slope, South Slope, Windsor Terrace, Sunset Park, Red Hook, Carroll Gardens, and Cobble Hill, serving 20,000 students in preschool, elementary, middle, and high schools.
District 15’s vision ensures equitable opportunities for success that empower our diverse communities to value and nurture every student’s strengths.
