Morning Care

Start Your Day for Success at PS 295

For the 2026-27 school year, PS 295 is introducing a new Morning Care Program for students in 3-K, Pre-K, and Grades K–5. This program will offer families a safe, structured childcare option on every day school is in session (7:30–8:20am).

This program is designed as a childcare service with PS 295 educators and staff, and will not provide an academic program. Each morning care day will include supervised activities to help ease into their day in a calm and welcoming environment:

  • a healthy breakfast

  • STEAM-based projects

  • indoor movement activities and games

  • social-emotional skills and creativity

Morning Care drop-off ends at 8:20am — no students will be admitted to the program after 8:00am. This allows the staff a transition time to begin our school routines.

To help us prepare staffing and ensure we have enough space for all interested families, please complete this Seat Reservation Form. Completing this form reserves your child's space but does not complete registration. To finalize enrollment, families must visit PS 295 between August 31 and September 3, 2026, from 8:30am—2pm.

Please contact Ms. Marrero with questions. We’re happy to help.
