Wear your favorite costume for a school-wide parade around the school campus. Families and friends can meet at corner of 19th Street and 6th Avenue to cheer for everyone! Students will stay with their class throughout the parade.
Then everyone is invited to join a celebration in the 19th Street Courtyard with music and games, including class-hosted tables, giveaways, music, and a photo booth presented by your Family Teacher Association.
When planning your child’s costume, please follow these policies:
Students should come to school already wearing their costumes.
Costumes cannot interfere with classroom activities or distract from learning.
No masks, props, accessories, or full-face makeup allowed. Costumes cannot cover the face.
Costumes cannot restrict movement or vision.
Costumes cannot prevent or impede a student from sitting at a table, engaging in recess, or using the bathroom.
Costumes cannot include weaponry or sharp objects, including guns, swords, knives, etc.
Costumes must display school-appropriate content.
