Freedom to Dream

On Saturday September 20, the local arts educaton nonprofit, Mural Justice Project, will host “Freedom to Dream Day,” their annual neighborhood street festival along 19th Street and 6th Avenue. The event features arts and crafts, live music, local food vendors, cultural performances, dancing, and games for all ages.

This festival raises funding to provide inclusive and collaborative art programming in under-resourced public schools around Brooklyn, by empowering NYC college students to be employed as teaching artists in partnership with nearby schools. You can purchase tickets at muraljusticeproject.org
