Thriving Before and After School

New this year, PS 295 is partnering with the after school provider, Right At School, a nationally recognized provider of enrichment-based childcare. For the first time at 295, this program will be available for all students in 3-K, Pre-K, and Grades K–5 from 2:45–6pm.

The school is also exploring the introduction of a Morning Care Program for all grades, hosted by PS 295 educators, offering families a safe structured childcare option from 7–8am to help students start their day for success, including breakfast, STEAM-based projects, and movement activities.

Both programs have flexible options for every family’s needs: anywhere from one to five days per week, drop-in options, and a ten-day punch card for on-demand scheduling. Complete details, schedules, pricing, and discounts are outlined on the school website (ps295.org).

The Family Teacher Association started a new campaign, The Fund for 295, to raise money for before and after school scholarships, ensuring working families can access these quality programs.

So whether its helping students ease into their day in a calm and welcoming environment, or extending the school day experience with joyful and enriching after school opportunities, PS 295 is ready to inspire the love of learning and give families peace of mind. ❤
