When we dream together, we can do amazing things. We can learn about the world around us and how we play a part in it, both today and in the future. We can create beautiful, wondrous ideas that make our community a better place.
These are just some of the words narrated in a new video about PS 295 and the school’s tagline “Come Dream With Us.”
The recent graduates from the Class of 2025 wanted to share some of their dreams with incoming and returning students. So here are their inspiring and encouraging bits of wisdom for the PS 295 school community:
“My dream for kids at 295 is to have fun and listen to your teachers!” —Xian
“My dream for the current students at PS 295 is that they are proud whether they ace an assignment or fail it.” —Charlee
“Work hard, get help from your teachers, and make good choices.” —Fabiola
“Make friends! You can make friends by asking what they like in a group activity or any other time! Try asking simple things about themselves then go on to engaging more time with them. I made the best two friends in school and it was the thing to keep me going!” —Duri
“My dream for current students would be to enjoy every day together because after you graduate you probably won’t see each other often.” —Gianna
“Dream big, keep your head up. Now stiffen up that upper lip, what you crying about? You can be anything you want to be.” —Kayden
“For all the fifth graders, it’s going to be a long year with lots of hard work, but in the end it’s so worth it. My dream for you is that everyone will be a friend to one another.” —Benjamin
”Know that you are special. Even if you’re not good in one thing, you’re even better in another.” —Paige
Good luck to the Class of 2025 and thanks for sharing your dreams! ❤
