Hello My Name Is…

Some of the fresh faces around PS 295 aren’t just the students: the school is happy to introduce some new staff who are joining the dream team, and some teachers who are taking on new grades around the building.

Ms. Oram joins the Pre-K team in Room 102. Ms. Kristen Fitzpatrick joins Ms. Granieri in Room 113 for first grade.

Ms. Kerri-Anne Scalia is partnering with Ms. Jackson for the second graders in Room 112. And the additional second grade class in Room 111 features newcomers Ms. Irene Martinez and Ms. Lauren Donovan.

PS 295 has three new fourth grade teachers this year: Ms. Yolanda Terry and Ms. Emily Sadofsky in Room 214, and Ms. Tara Catalano joins Ms. Rivera in Room 116. Upstairs in fifth grade, Ms. Gaisi’s new co-teacher in Room 215 is Ms. Sarah Butler.

The science lab is back in action with a full time teacher this year: Ms. Johanna Umpierre. And the new music teacher, Ms. Sarah Baird Knight, joins the school once a week from PS 261 Brooklyn to provide in-class instruction.
